Healthy snacks do not have to be exotic, complicated, or difficult.
Being healthy should not be difficult, or tasteless. This is the perfect combination for a light, quick meal, a snack, or even a dessert since it is so sweet.
It’s so simple, it hardly needs a “recipe”…but I am too OCD to break the usual pattern of my blog posts.
3/4 of a pear*
1 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
whole wheat bread (I used 1 multigrain slimwhich)
Toast the bread, then spread with peanut butter. Slice the pear thinly and arrange on peanut butter bread. Enjoy!
* This means you get to devour the other 1/4 of the pear while you are patiently toasting the bread. 🙂
