Turkey Pizza Wrap {Packed Lunch Edition}

Turkey Pizza Wrap Dinner of Herbs

Adding pepperoni to your sandwich or wrap is a simple way to make your lunch a little more interesting.

Using turkey pepperoni sparingly and a lower-carb wrap makes your lunch a little healthier too!  The fresh basil also shines through and adds lots of flavour.

So grab these ingredients, wrap it up, pack it, and enjoy!

The Recipe

Ingredients

1 Sundried Tomato FlatOut wrap

1 roma tomato, sliced

2 slices turkey lunchmeat

8-12 slices turkey pepperoni

1 slice muenster cheese

small handful fresh spinach

3-4 fresh basil leaves, whole

Servings: 1 wrap

Layer the cheese, lunchmeat, pepperoni, spinach, basil, and tomato on top of the wrap and roll up.  Enjoy!

  1. Never been a fan of turkey pepperoni or bacon, but you have me curious. Maybe time to try it again?

    Can I go here once again? (so sorry for all of the rants): Why oh why would someone give Subway or any other fast-food spot $$ for a version of this sandwich? Way too easy to make it better and for less money. When will folks catch on? Keep fighting the good fight 😉

    1. I am not a huge fan of turkey either (especially turkey lunch meat) so that is why I had to dress it up a little! I only had turkey bacon as a child, until my parents went back to the real thing when I was a tween. So, I am ok with turkey bacon, but the real thing is much better of course!
      And YES, you are allowed to go there again! Another bonus with making this sandwich at home rather than going to Subway? If you make this at home, you don’t end up smelling like salami and onions. The same can’t be said if you spend more than 10 seconds inside a Subway.
